I have been with talktalk for too long, my only regret is that I signed up with talktalk for 24 months about 1.5 years ago as I will only pay half price broadband for the first 6 months, BIG mistake! I have now given up ringing talktalk as keep losing connection and struggle to understand the support team on the phone everytime I ring them up as it’s in India (if not in India their first language is not english) so just putting up with it for now till the contract ends and I am definetly not renewing my contract with talktalk ever again. Makes me wonder how the xfactor accepts talktalk as their sponsors with all the bad views!
My main gripe with talktalk is actually getting hold of someone if you have a problem.Recently spent over 4 hours in total being put on hold over a two day period,just not getting to talk to anyone! So frustrating,and no reply to my email contact except for a standard “we have logged your email” but no follow up.Where do I go from here? If you ring new customer line it gets picked up,but of course they can’t deal with a problem!
I have been with talktalk since the beginning and up to the last 2 years was having problems with dropping the connections,but i then found out it was bt‘s exchange at fault and nothing to do with talktalk.
I have full internet and broadband sevice with NTL.better known as Virgin Media and have been with them for 13 yrs now and fantastic a company that u can trust but my landline is talk talk and it took talk talk 12 months for the switch over from bt but i will not switch my pc to talk talk no way as they are a crap company.So if any has got trouble with talk talk crap broadband go to Virgin Media as you get whats promised and no problems.
Talktalk’s always shocking service seems to have got even worse lately. They have now lost my entire email Inbox and have not restored it or responded to complaints either by email or phone. Please don’t even think of signing up with TalkTalk..by far the worst company of any sort that I have ever dealt with
TalkTalk? Would this be same company that promised me broadband speeds of up to 24meg, estimated that I would achieve 16meg by my postcode but actually provides me with under 3meg? The same company that promised me a monthly broadband cost of just over £3 but in fact charge me twice that? The same company that keep pestering me with sales calls? the same company that…….
how can anybody recommend talk talk when they cannot get anything right I have been waiting since July 2010 to get anytime day time calls and the best they come up with is that there is a problem with my account but they keep debiting my account every month.
We have had many problems with you in the past but on this occasion many thanks.We have received our new router 3 days after the promise of one and it took me ( a 61 year old novice ) just 4 minuets to install and connect.
I have been with talktalk for almost 18th months, contract due to expire in 3 weeks. I cannot, not for the first time, access my account which is very high considering I have been away for part of the month it included. I have sent numerous emails in the last few days, no success, and have just phoned them to be given the default password to access it, no joy. I have been pestered with phone calls to take out a new contract over the last couple of months, don’t want to but am at a loss to know who to change to. Can anyone recommend a reliable, honest and easy to access provider who can be trusted to provide the service they promise?
