was with tiscali for years and never had a problem with the service. since talk talk took over and I agreed to contract 3 months ago, my internet never stays connected for long, drops every 5 minutes at times, sometimes wont connect all day.
customer service in India, or wherever country they are in is appaling. staff read off idiot cards and have no knowledge in technical support! Their answer to fix broadband is to unplug router and swap the ends around of the wires. Then they gleefully say we fixed it now when of course they haven’t.
They wouldnt send me a new router, it took 7 calls to get one after I got angry. I have been transferred from billing to technical support a few times, put on hold for 30 minutes and listened to the same mind numbing tune of city lights over and over to then get through and be told I was back talking to billing…which by the way my reason for calling billing was because they cancelled all direct debits to allow their new system and was sent a letter to warn me I hadn’t paid the bill. No one told me or my friends who are with talk talk that they were going to need manual payments for 2 months!
AVOID TALK TALK!!!! AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL AND my friends also cannot get internet connections with them either, same problems as me so this is their service!
