It is unfortunate that Karoo holds a stranglehold over broadband in Hull. They are most definately overpriced (even taking into account the recent price decreases) especially when compared against offerings by companies like Bulldog Broadband.
Reliability is also a bit of a sore point with Karoo's most frequent response to problems being "The problem is with your hardware setup, there are no problems here!"
If you are at all interested, a community group is in the first stages of being setup which hopes to provide a free community wireless network to Hull. You can find out a little more (and how to help!) at www.northernnet.info

It is too expensive and the speeds are slow. After complaining about the price, they have told me that it is competitive with other ISP - GARBAGE. They acknowledge owning Eclipse and cant see that the Hull network is too expensive. They speak s#@t. Also there BRAS unit has failied three times now and everytime they say that its repaired, next day the network goes down. I have a linksys router and i have to reset it everytime i need more than 20 connections opening on P2P software. I'm not all negative though the speeds are fine but so are everyone else's its the price I hate paying £30 for a 750K line.
