Buckinghamshire-based Internet service provider, Nildram, is partnering with local initiative e-Bucks, to offer broadband advice and education to small and medium sized businesses. The programme is designed to encourage take-up of fast Internet access amongst small businesses, and enable them to reach a wider audience through the Internet.
As part of the project with e-Bucks, a key objective is to offer specialist broadband advice to over 1,500 SMEs, over the next two years. Nildram’s knowledge and expertise of supplying business broadband will enable the initiative to provide information and assist small businesses and start ups with online business trading and Internet issues.
As an active member of the local community for over 11 years, Nildram is currently investing heavily in next-generation broadband in Buckinghamshire to develop 24Mb speeds and integrated voice services to benefit both businesses and the residents living in the area.
Maria Cappella, managing director at Nildram comments, "We are delighted to be so involved in a worthwhile local project like e-Bucks. It is a fantastic opportunity for us to support both SMEs and broadband in our area. Those starting up a business may have limited knowledge of the Internet or IT issues, which is where we come in to offer support and advice."
"Nildram is an award-winning Internet service provider with an excellent reputation for innovation and customer service, so it was a natural decision to invite them to become part of e-Bucks." comments Phillip Taylor, project manager at e-Bucks. "Together, we are looking forward to helping SMEs make the most of the opportunities available online."
Nildram is also working on several other projects within Buckinghamshire, which includes providing complimentary broadband to locally-based John Colet School and teaming up with local website aboutmyarea.co.uk.
