Be has announced that it has unbundled a further 14 exchanges as part of its roll-out plan which will eventually see 156 exchanges made live by the Summer (2006).
The unbundling brings the number of ‘Be ready’ exchanges to 79 and comes ahead of Be’s move into Birmingham and Manchester – the first two cities outside of the capital to feel the benefits of Be’s expansion. Both cities are expected to go live by the start of the Summer.
The announcement comes hot on the heels of Be’s recent industry award where the company was named ‘Best Sumo Consumer Broadband’ by IPSA - the award for the ISP which provides the best over 2MB broadband service to consumers. The ISPA Awards are renowned for their independence and research partner Epitiro spent three months testing all of the entrant’s services.
Since launching last summer, Be has continually raised the bar for the UK broadband market by offering the latest technology, which allows the fastest broadband speeds currently available, at highly competitive prices.
