Neri pleads not guilty to graft charges over ZTE-NBN mess
Former socio-economic secretary Romulo Neri on Friday pleaded not guilty to graft charges he is facing before the Sandiganbayan in connection with the government’s botched 9-million national broadband network project with a Chinese firm. Neri’s lawyer said his client is not interested in turning into a state witness, or to be a member of the soon-to-be-formed Truth Commission.
