Broadband services will be offered through the Chamber’s “Chamber Perks” program, which provides leveraged purchasing power for Florida’s small and medium businesses. Chamber members can utilize Broadband National’s proprietary system and broadband contracts to significantly reduce labor-related and direct telecom costs. “On average, our customers reduce their telecom costs by 32%, and reduce the time assessing options by 90%. We anticipate each participating Chamber member to achieve these same savings”, said Vinny Olmstead, President of Broadband National.

Broadband National was selected due to its ability to aggregate multiple broadband and telecom providers under one contract, and its ability to offer statewide coverage of broadband and telecom services. Broadband National has contractual relationships with companies such as BellSouth, ITC DeltaCom, and XO Communications and is able to offer their services directly to the Chamber members. “Our contract with Broadband National enables our membership the benefit of choice through multiple broadband and telecom providers in one user-friendly web portal. Each member can compare pricing and providers for their location in seconds versus days, and can also leverage volume purchasing through Broadbandnational.com”, said David Bayer, Managing Director of the Chamber Perks program.

The Broadband National service offerings will be implemented consistent with the Florida Chamber Federation’s “Chamber Perks” program. Chamber Perks aggregates the power of 120,000 members and 3 million employees to offer leverage in contracting for items such as shipping, outsourcing, and telecom services. Chamber Perks will be implemented to local Florida Chambers in the first quarter of 2004.

The Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce will be the first local chamber to offer Broadband National services. “We are delighted to offer our members the opportunity to use the Broadband National System for the purchase of broadband and telecom service. Our members will benefit greatly by reducing their time comparing multiple options for broadband and telecom. Broadband National will also provide negotiated discounts from selected providers, again a benefit to our members,” said Jacob Stewart, President & CEO of the Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce.

About Broadband National, LLC

Broadband National is a broadband and telecommunications sales and marketing organization that markets broadband and telecom services such as DSL, high-speed cable, T1-T3′s, integrated voice/data solutions, and LLD (“Local/Long Distance”) services. BN has positioned itself as a premiere “marketplace” for more than 35 broadband and telecom partners.

BN’s business has evolved over the past two years due to a significant void in the marketplace. The company is a one-stop connection for ubiquitous, telecom retail distribution. Consumers are rapidly purchasing broadband services but have not been able to identify an efficient process to a) determine what products and services are available at their location(s), b) identify available providers, and c) compare pricing. Broadband National has created the premiere user-friendly marketplace that aggregates comparable data and enables consumers to purchase these services through the website or through a sales consultant.
