I am thinking about wanting to be a web designer. Does anyone have any good advice for me to pursue it. I figure I can work at my job during the day and do it at night on the side. Any thoughts? Anyone else do it?

I am still asking around trying to figure out the best way to become a webdesigner. I think it would be a better sideline job then working in a chip store.
Any help?

There are a lot of tutorials out there on the internet. I would suggest if you wanted to get into it, you set up your own site to test it out and learn as you go. I guess you could take a course or even specialize at University, but I do not know if that is the best route.
Might want to set up your own site and see if you enjoy it first.

Are you going to University? My girlfriend is taking some computer design classes, and she is thinking of becoming a web developer. She has an internship at a web publishing company. I forget the name.
So maybe that is a way to go!
