I am looking for an extender or access point to implement at work. If I have an access point with a single connector can I hook a regular router in there and route to the rest of the office and out to the internet?

Secondly, what recommendations do you have for access points?

You should be able to route out to the internet fine. I think there are some access points with multiple ethernet ports. They also have gameport extenders which usually only have 1 port that they normally target to console game users to hook up their consoles to the wireless network.

I noticed in the other thread that you can get one of the linksys routers and use that as an access point too. So might want to check that out.

Someone posted some info about that Linksys and it says that it works as an adapter in its specifications. So I think it would do what you want.

Yes I saw that information. It is very good to know.

I am looking into ordering one. Does anyone know of a good value?
