Well spotted! Never noticed that before

The forum software is licensed to one domain and uses that activation approach that seems to be invading the software industry recently. It seems that the www. bit is part of our "one domain" deal.

We'll raise it with the forum software vendors!

Forum licence error - obscure fault of the day

I just made the mistake of trying to access the site without using the WWW prefix in the URL (e.g. http://broadband-help.com)

All looked okay until I clicked on the FORUM link and then I got a message about missing licence - like this:

The domain license for InstantForum.NET installed at "http://broadband-help.com" could not be obtained from the InstantASP activation server.
