Special Report email - Received 15 times!!!!

Opened my email this morning to find that during the night I had been sent the email "Special Report: The 5 Fastest Broadband Providers" a total of 15 times. Seems you need to sort out your mailing system.

This has made me unsubscribe from your mailings and I suspect you might lose many other subscribers due to this annoyance!

Speed Test Problem

I have done a couple of speed tests and the on screen test shows the Download was 6.98Mbps and Upload 357Kpbs. But when it is saved it saves the Download as 6.65 and does not seem to change since my other tests, the Upload saves correctly..

It has been brought to our attention that many of you are not seeing your speed test results after running the broadband speed test.

A fix is in the pipeline and will be rolled out as soon as possible.

Have just spent 30 minutes writing a lengthy topic, clicked on spell check before posting - and your system told me that I must be logged in to use this function (which, of course, I was).

Needless to say, the post is GONE...

Posting Error

I had just typed out a long post but got some kind of technical error.

It said it logged the information. It then took me back to the window and where it says "Post New Topic" right now, it said "Waiting"

I ended up redoing the message a few minutes and it worked fine.

I notice when someone uses the quote option it does not show up with a special display like a lot of forums do but instead just shows up with

around the entry. Is it possible to have it highlighted or set off instead of just using the tags?

Is it me being dumb or is your server operating on a weird time zone... I've just noticed it says

All times are GMT, Time now is 9:18am

at the bottom of the page but I'm posting this at 18:21

Forum licence error - obscure fault of the day

I just made the mistake of trying to access the site without using the WWW prefix in the URL (e.g. http://broadband-help.com)

All looked okay until I clicked on the FORUM link and then I got a message about missing licence - like this:

The domain license for InstantForum.NET installed at "http://broadband-help.com" could not be obtained from the InstantASP activation server.

We spotted a bug whereby it was not possible for new users to post ISP reviews.

This has now been fixed.
