Hi all,
Just wanted to get your thoughts on my speed results for the past 3 days... It has been terrible recently and got to the point of stupidity... I pay £25.00 a month with AOL UK (dont say a word) for up to 8mbs, I am local to my exchange, using wireless but have excellent signal and is a standard Netgear router...

What the test results tell me is that your exchange traffic is heavy during the evenings and that when your speed goes down.
The contention Ratio for your VP is very high that the reason you are affected.
What needs to be done is try and contact your ISP and see if they can help you.
However if situation is what i am thinking, then your ISp needs to upgrade your VP and that requires some investment on their behalf which i am not sure they would do until they have others reaching their neck from your same area.
Also what they would do is try and curb the heavy users so that you can get some good speed.
But reporting the same to them is the only way to get it resolved.
