Hi,

I would like to get help in connection with Belkin G+ MIMO router (F5D9230-4)

I use this router but I have problems: Sometimes the speed is decreased, If I browse something via the internet, that is ok, but If I do not touch to the internet, examples I read something than the the speed is decreased, disconnected.

I try to updated the firmware sw, that was not successful. The Belkin site offers 3 type of version sw. During the update I've got an reponse about the uncompatibility.

Wht can I do? Thanks

Daft question, but I presume that is quite a new router so perhaps you could try returning it and exchanging it?

Hi,

This is a new router, and I plan to exchange it but at first I tried to use another nootebook to connect to the router, the result is ok, the speed correct and constans.

I thing this is a unique connection problem. The both nootebook is HP and supports the 802.11b and 802.11b g as well.

Have you got another idea?

Thanks,
Pg

Sorry for the delay in replying as we don't frequent this forum too often.

We have had compatibility issues between Belkin wireless cards and other access points before, but not yet seen any this way around where it is a device trying to connect to the router. I wonder if this is the same issue?

As it has been so long I didn wonder if you have made any progress and what the outcome is/was?

Rgds, Pete
