Big hi from the newbie!

Ok, so I have decided to drop Pipex as the service has just got worse and worse. I am going with O2 broadband and ordered it last night and all I need to supply them now is the MAC from Pipex.

I rang Pipex this morning and after trying to keep me as a customer they finaly gave in and said I will get my MAC by email in..... THE NEXT 5 WORKING DAYS!!!

The most I have waited in the past is 48 hours and I thought that was a long time! Is this normal or are they just taking the p**s out of me?

Hi.

Their obligation is to provide a MAC within five days. Having said that when you get past the "customer dis-service" crowd, a customer that moved to ourselves last week had his within a couple of hours of their call.

Hope yours is similar.

Rgds, Pete

Hello,

Just try and contact them again they should be able to provide you the MAC immediately. The five day thing is just to fob you off.
