I want to give my due respect to NTL. I have the 10 mb package. It can be a bit more expensive, but I have had good luck. I know others have complained about issues, but it has been very stable for me recently.

I have family who have used NTL and they complain about it disconnecting sometimes. They are always telling me how unreliable it is, and how it is not that fast.

I would say about half the people I know who use NTL like it, and the other half do not like it as much. It is a mixed bag, pretty much like every broadband provider I can find. I do not know any that are a consensus approval.

I have not had many disconnection problems. At one point I had a phone that was intefering, but I promptly bashed it to bits!

I've had NTL Broadband for over two years now and apart from a small blip when a server went pete tong the service I've had was pretty much stable and I'm happy with my internet connection from them.
