How are you all handle wiring for those cases where you might not be using wirleless. I am tempted to go all wireless, but for now I am trying to figure out if there is a seemless way for me to integrate category-5 throughout my house without a huge expense.

Why are you relectant to go with wireless? With the recent round of wireless equipment it is very stable and you get thoroughput as high as 10 base-t/100 base-t in a lot of cases. Unless you had a need to hardwire gigabit ethernet I would go with wireless for sure. Just makes it easier to put computers and devices anywhere you want.

If there is some reason, then I understand, otherwise you should like at wireless.

I have a large spool of 10-base-t and I already have a router and everything. Looking at the expenses for wireless and getting cards for each computer and device, it is going to be fairly expensive. So I would rather do it bit-by-bit. Perhaps get the wireless router and then add wireless devices as I move forward.
