There are two types of wireless routers you might run into when looking around.

There is an ADSL Wireless Router which is designed to work with the BT adsl service. It actually has the dsl modem built right into it.

The more common and generic broadband wireless routers connect to many different modems, including adsl and cable modems.

I had never even heard of one with the modem built-in until I saw your d-link information. Good information, thanks for sharing. I thought you always needed a seperate modem.
