Hello,

We have just got a new pc and we have just signed up with Sky Broadband. We did the installation this week and everything seems to be ok the only thing is if I want to upload a photo on facebook or send an attachment via my yahoo E-mail account (basically anything we upload via the internet) the PC crashes - could this be the broadband?? Any help would be much appreciated

Thanks

Tam

It is possible it is a dodgy network card driver I guess but is most odd. Your broadband itself isn't going to cause the PC to crash, but something accidentally or otherwise downloaded over it, or no firewall and someone trying to hack your PC could.

Are you connecting over a cat-5 cable or wireless and if it is wireless are you using a wireless card that was included with the machine or something you added afterwards?

Hello,

I think its an issue with your PC.

And specially if you have a router it cannot affect your PC.

Try and check if you are able to get a proper response after you disable your firewall of antivirus.

Brad
