I have 2meg virgin broadband at the moment. I have a wireless router that i run my playstation through so i was wondering if the laptop will work through the router?

Yes, it should. We ran ours through it also. PC, playstation, etc

As long as the router is wireless and you have wi-fi on your laptop then it should work

Yes, if you have other wireless devices (your playstation) in the house already then your all set, just set up the laptop in the same way.
it should if it has built in wi -fi,or you will need to buy a dongle to plug in to the usb port,this will then pick up the signal from the router
Yes it will if your router is wireless you wont need to purchase anymore hardware providing the laptop is wifi enabled (i.e. has a wireless network card!)
