Question by Clare: Why does my broadband keep switching to local and turning the internet off?
I keep getting disconnected for no reason and can’t get back on. Under access it will say: Local, normally says Local and internet. Why can’t it connect?
I phoned talk talk, they couldn’t find the problem, told me to ring “geek squad” which is pricy
I tried turning router on and off, tried turning computer on and off, didn’t work, just came back of it’s own accord, don’t know why
Could it be the microfilter as my sister couldn’t phone me last night when I was on the net. I have microfilters in both phone sockets and phone working at the moment whilst on net.

Your ISP could be having problems. I know mine is

its your internet company having trouble not you,your internet provider does maintence,you lose your connection,if you use your phone compant then when they have trouble with the phone lines you lose your connections samething if you use a dish or cable company
