I use a wireless laptop and now my connection keeps breaking even though it says signal strength very good. I keep having to disconnect and then reconnect just to change page. It’s happening with IE7 and mozilla..Any idea what could be causing it please guys?

This can be caused by lots of factors. The fact that it occurs with both browsers inidcates its a hradware fault rather than a software fault
1) Too far away from the router try moving the router to a different position
2) poor match between wifi and router. Try upgrading to the latest drivers and firmware on both router and laptop.
I had an Asus laptop with this very fault – the only cure was to be a PCard wifi adapter instead
3) Interference from neighbouring networks try setting the broadcast channel 2 setps higher or low and ensure both are set to UK transmsission
4)Interference from portable phones (they use the same 2.4Ghz frequency) microwaves and faulty electrical fittings
