I am thinking to change my broadband to virgin 20mb but I not sure I’d they are fast I heard good and bad reviews about them. I am using BT which is very slow and totally rubbish!!! I get 54kps and somethings I get lower which is laggy for my gaming! Is virgin good? Any other faster?

Virgin,BT. I’ve use both and I get up to 44.9Mb Its very fast and cheap

Virgin can crack out 50mb max, BT can only do 24 (untill they do fiber, then its 40)
Ofcom recently tested all BB connections and virgin was giving people more than 80% of the connection speed, and it was top dog.

Well, first off, make sure you actually look at some of the providers for the limit you can download or upload a month. If you are JUST doing gaming, then you would be fine, but as some people do, they use gaming, downloading, and who knows what else. NEVER get wildblue, hughes net, or any other crap like that. I have heard that comcast has some pretty good specs though. Also, just make sure you look for the availibility in your area.

I have been using cable ever since it came on line in the UK with Comtel [the forerunner of NTL then Virgin] about 13 years ago and it delivers what it says on the tin.
I’m on the 10 Mb/s service and this is what I get more or less 24/7
