I signed up with Sky broadbamd but have only managed to use it for 20 mins. I am definitely cancelling it citing the contravention of Sale of Goods act to them.

the best one i have found is bt broadband, was with tiscali but they are crap, so why dont you try bt?

Virgin you get like the old day surf unlimited and some greatt deals especialy on Broadband I have been with them 6 months

Bt has good customer service but you can be limited to the amount of downloading ,virgin gives faster speeds and you dont need to have a phone line to get it just broadband on its own ,handy if you don’t even need a landline as with bt ,sky etc you need a bt phoneline before u can get the services ,the speeds aren’t to great while virgin is bringing out a 20mb service with unlimited downloading. and you aren’t paying for phone rental and broadband.
they have a good package of phone ,broadband and tv with v+ and a box in another room for £85 which is good compared to sky and bt and a broadband service added up
Sad to say but Broadband is definately a product that fits in with the ‘you get what you pay for’ defintion. If you get it in with a bundle or ‘free’ with another service you tend to suffer.
I’m with PlusNet and have been very happy with them for years (give or take an issue or two). I had thought of trying some one new but then the only ISP I’d be happy to move to is BT/Yahoo and I’m pretty sure they aquired PlusNet recently and so I wouldn’t actually be changing.
As long as it isn’t NTL now Virgin.
Ntl were forever disconnecting us,so we thought that now Virgin had taken over it would be ok.No chance!Still crap.
I agree about BT.A lot of my mates are with them and have no trouble,so worth a try.
