I have a @btinternet.com email address that was given to me when I signed up for BT broadband. I’m thinking of cancelling my broadband, will I lose my btinternet email address and email account?

Most likely yes, email your internet provider and ask.

Give yourself an Yahoo email address and inform all your contacts of your new one.
You may be able to transfer your BT service to the BT Premium Email service, which would allow you keep using your email address (at the cost of £1.50 a month) while using another ISP.
wait 7 days and then call up 0870 241 4567 (Billing department for BT e-mail) and ask them to change to account to a BT Yahoo! Premium Account
Mine didnt get suspended for about 6 months. But with Bt you never know.
BT will close your account down and you will loose your email address
it gets suspended,!!
