You guys are totally confused and all wrong.
Your comments are for a pay as you go dongle that expires after 30 days.
THIS article clearly states it’s for the K3565 Vodafone dongle which DOES NOT expire after 30 days. It’s £15 per 1GB and last as long as it takes to user the data limit.
Plus if you don’t live near a 3G connection stop moaning about lack of speed, any dongle would be the same.
Do your research then you won’t all look like fools.
This is one of the only non expiring broadband dongles on the Market. Buy now cos they have been discontinued by Vodafone. Amazon.co.UK is the place to get one.

Sloooow, expensive, drops connections,
 Â
Bought a Vodafone one because I need a reliable broadband connection when travelling. First time I tried to use it the signal was minimal and it took forever to download emails. It only seems to work properly in cities where the network has been upgraded but even in some large toens the connection is slow and connection is dropped regularly.
HAs a tiny dull LED near the end of the dongle. Red = no signal; green = deadly slow connection speed; blue = you have a chance of surfing the net if you can hold the connection. It is a travesty, however to call this broadband, it’s about equivalent to a decent old fashioned dial-up connection, or worse if you only have a green LED. I live in sight of a mast and can’t get a decent signal at home!
Takes ages to install software on first boot up of dongle. In normal use, takes 2-3 minutes for the computer to detect the dongle & a further minute or two to detect if there is a network then another 30s to connect [yawn, time to make a cuppa].
Comes with a month connection included in the price. The rip-off bit is that a top-up only lasts for 30 days hence if you forget to top up you have to go through the rigmarole of buying a top-up, logging in and then inputting the pin or using your credit card. Conveniently [not] you can’t top up at a cashpoint like a normal mobile phone and equally conveniently, you can’t send a text message from this dongle.
I have never manged to get enough of a signal to use up a £10 topup within a month!
In short, total pants.

|Review the modem, not the network,
Comments I’ve seen don’t really do the device any justice coz they ain’t on the device itself but on the charging plans from the carrier or the network.
Speed you can get depends if you can get a good signal in your area (just like your mobile.) Its nothing to do with the dongle (still confused?)
I happen to live somewhere with a good signal (so doing skype calls is no problem.)
I do agree the 30-day expiry limit is a bit of a disgrace to call itself pay as you go. But I happen to use around 100MB per day so topping up once a month works out just perfect, considering I don’t need to install a landline and no contract attached.
In short before you do any purchase,
1. Check the signal in your area (same as any networks!)
2. Check how heavy is your usage

|Vodafone Change T&Cs – 30 Day Limit,
 Â
 Â
In the good old days when you purchased a top up it would last and this would be ideal for the occasional usage, covering normal broadband in the home etc. But recently Vodafone have changed the terms and conditions, meaning that any top up expires after 30 days. Thus you have to purchase a new top up every 30 days. This is very poor from Vodafone and means that it is hardly a pay as you go deal any longer – really it’s the same as a contract, having to pay again every month. So if you are thinking of purchasing one of these dongles beware of what you are letting yourself get into
