Its driving me mad. The router is plugged in and running and feeding my laptop broadband. That’s great but the actual installation is not working – I follow all the instructions and it points out that I have two network cards, I have to turn one off (the wireless one) which I do, it then runs a test and cannot detect the router (although its actually feeding the internet to my laptop!?!?)… It is a Netgear Wireless ADSL DG834G v2 please help! Happy New Year!

I had a similar problem with vista and that same router. If you can go online, go to netgears website and download the latest firmware for your router and follow the installation instructions. It’s worth a try, it worked for me.
