I’ve heard that when you first get your broadband it will be quicker, then slow down to a fair speed for your area. Is this true, because the speed I’m getting just now after 3 days is great and I’m hoping it wont slow down.

to be honest mine was slow when we first got it and it still is people cut the cable it was off for 2weeks and it has happened a few times do not get it!

I had Sky before and it stayed fast. I now have 02 which has slowed down so I would stay with Sky!
its all to do with your area.mine is still copper wires not fibre optic so only get 5meg top.contacting skyis good for slow downs. they tweaked it for me and it improved slightly.
