I have option 1 broadband and have done for months. The offer at the moment is that new customers are getting it free, so shouldnt i?

Although techincally you don’t need a home hub to use it, it can cause some strange problems after you have watched some of the on demand stuff.
You can get it free if you sign up to one of their TV packages( free for 6 months then £4.50 for next 12 months) or pay £30 with no packages.
I would get the home hub as you definately need a router to use BT vision and the home hub is better for it

youl defo need the hub, but if you recontract to get the free v-box you might have to pay for the hub. You could ask them tho, its worth tryin n itl save you! But if theres an offer with the free box and hub, youl just have to recontract for 18months to get it free.
I have bt broadband, but had to pay extra for hub as they werent doing it free at the time!
