Could I still be on BT for home phones but use Plusnet broadband? Or is it impossible?

hi yes u can have a diffrent internet provider to you phone line

yes you can, but Plusnet may insist on you transferring your phone calls to them.
this happened when i joined Virgin. BT wrote to me and told me to prefix all calls with 1280 to use BT call service.
