Is it possible to configure my Laptop for BT Broadband Home Hub without the Disk?
Question by soul_storm_x: Is it possible to configure my Laptop for BT Broadband Home Hub without the Disk?
I have recently decided against Orange as my Laptops current ISP and wish to change it to BT broadband and use my wireless in my laptop to connect via my home hub
The only problem i encounter is the fact that i have lost the installation disk i first got from BT some time ago. So my question is fairly simple. Is it possible to configure my Wireless without having to resort to aquireing another BT broadband install disk?

Yes, once you’ve connected your laptop to the bthomehub by searching for devices using your laptops network device, Go to internet explorer and in the adress bar type bthomehub.home
This will take you to the bthomehub configuration page, but you will have to sign in or at least create a password
Your username will be admin alll in lowercase, but the password varies depending on if you have set one or not, good luck

I don’t see why not.
The files from the disk are probably available for download somewhere.
