No, absolutely, no. Your private informations should be stolen by the damn hackers.

Your server connection at the vendors site might be secure but your data packets leading up to that secure site are not.
The simple answer is NO.http://www.sxsecurity.com/Wireless/WiFi_Security-3/
It’s safe enough. In order for someone to get access to your details they would need to catch your data being transmitted from your PC to your router. It’s highly unlikely. Think of all the people using Wi-Fi hot spots. However I’d recommend that you secure your connection by encrypting it or simply by putting a password on it so that nobody but you has access to your network. I wouldn’t want my neighbour using my Internet connection. Check the user manual of your modem/router for doing that, it’s not difficult.
it is better to do this on a secured one but it should be safe just be careful what you do though
Good question..
Technically speaking.. as long as you are “tunnelled in” to the other site via the https:// which basically creates a secure channel like a tunnel.. then yes, you’re information should be safe… and I say should.. because there are other factors to consider…
If someone can gain access to your computer, your connection, etc.. if they wanted to bad enough, they might be able to intercept the transaction information and eventually break the encryption that the site uses for it’s SSL communication (httpS) …
If they can gain access to your connection and actually get onto your computer in some way such as monitoring your keystrokes.. then they don’t need to break through any encryption.
One of the essential keys to “security”, a security basic, is having a multi-layered approach… the theory being, the more layers someone has to go thru to get to your info the better because someone determined will eventually get through one way or the other given enough time.. and the average attacker will give up and go for the “low hanging fruit” so if you are protected at many layers.. they will give up after one or two.. hopefully.
I suggest you encrypt your wi-fi for many other reasons too..
Good luck!
It is always advisable to secure your wireless connection or your whole street could use it slowing down your connection . They would have to be extremely smart but people could access you pc and your data . I would secure it asap . Your purchases would be ok but it’s best to be safe
