well a modem and a router are not the same things. They might have a wireless modem/router combo…. how about calling them and asking?

Yes you can change it to wireless with orange and they supply you with a wireless box free, well nothing is Free. Your monthly charge will increase, as it is a different package.
alternatively you can buy a wireless router from say PCWorld. If you have a laptop the wireless card would be built in, if you have a desktop than you may need to buy the dongle separately. Belkin is a good make and their support team and web-support site is quite good.
