How to get a BT line and Sky/Virgin TV and broadband?

Hi there,
I live in London and now moving into a 1 bed house. I would like to get a landline phone, cable TV (sky, virgin, etc) and broadband.
Could you please advice how do I go about getting that and what is the better connection?

If you are not already tied to BT for your line, have heard you can now get all from SKY and speed is good as a result.This would include line rental, calls etc…
I have found with BT you can get locked in for a year. Have not heard as favourable reports of BT broadband. Not sure about Virgin. Parents had their cable TV and was pants frankly.

You are currently the buyer and all the providers the sellers. This is the time for you to get the best deal. Call each provider and get their quote. And then choose the one that suits you best.

Hey ya when i moved into my place it was a brand new build so my line wasnt turned on so i went with sky for my broadband, landline, and tv, as sky turned on my line for free and bt would of charged something like £120 to turn it on. sky is good though and doesnt cost alot a month obv depends on what your budget is but i have internet,landline and sky hd with all of the channels and mine is just under £80 a month again can make this cheaper with the basic sky and not all the channels! ( i just have a partner who is into his gadgets hense having sky hd and also the football and movies thats why i have the complete package lol) sky internet is fine for me and i dont have any lag or anything, i have my pc wired in and the xbox 360/ps3/wii are all wireless and conection is still fine online. virgin is the best internet tho by far as if you are paying for 20meg you will get that but with sky and the others you will be paying for 20meg and you might only get 1meg for example. my parents are on 50meg virgin and there internet is better than mine is hope this all helps
