How many GB of data come with the Sky Unlimited Broadband package?
Question by ⓜⓘ©ⓗⓐⓔⓛ مايكل يحبك أنت: How many GB of data come with the Sky Unlimited Broadband package?
I have Sky Broadband and I have the Unlimited package but on the bill it still say’s I used more than that which is quite odd, so I guess they must still have a fixed GB. Just like on your cell phone tariff unlimited texts are actually 12,000 texts. So does anybody know? Thanks

No one knows.
It isnt like phone companies.
Broadband is unlimited usage, for example, you can browse the internet all day every day, for a month and still be easily within your limit, but its limited in the sense of you cant do anything you want on there for all that time. So, you cant constantly download films for the month as that would easily breach the limit.
Also, although it is unlimited, it is subject to ‘fair usage policies’ ie, if you take up all the bandwidth downloading films, someone else gets slow internet, so it’s technically limited to a certain amount.
Sky wont tell people what their limit is, although, with them, it’s the fair usage policy, not the limit.
You’d need to ring them up and ask what you’re allowed to do
hope this helps

There is no limit on usage on Sky Unlimited, there is a 40GB limit on Sky Connect.
Its Virgin that has a fair usage policy and will traffic shape when the network is busy, Sky states clearly that they will not shape or slow traffic on Unlimited, there is enough bandwidth available for every Unlimited customer
Sky “Unimited” Broadband has a monthly usage cap of 40GB, which is one of the reasons (including that Virgin are better) I couldn’t switch. I download on adverage 70GB a month of data.
About 25 GB .
