My Husband & I have started a new business, we phoned BT up on the 31/2/11 to ask them if we can have broadband & phone put back into the building we are renting, they said we can have it put in on 29/03/11, why do we have to wait so long, we are loosing customers and we cant use our card reader.

I was told yesterday that the Post Office can also install phone lines and they have no contract period, it might be worthwhile getting in touch with them.
BT or Bloody Terrible to give them a better name are very bad which is why I set up my own telecoms business, unfortunately I cannot install new lines. However I do work with the worlds largest direct seller of telecoms and they can offer an excellent service and for broadband we have a partnership agreement with Virgin.
