I had the router installed and for some reason all went end up, have uninstalled but now cant start the installation disc from the beginning – it keeps going to check the network connection but gets stuck as there isnt any! How do I get the CD to start at the beginning of the process?

Isn’t there a ‘BACK’ button on each page? Failing that, it should give you the option to start from where you left off, or go back to the beginning, every time you insert the CD.

You might need an ethernet cable plugging in to connect the computer to the router during this procedure, or power the router down for a couple of minutes then re-power, or press the “reset to defaults” button on the router for about 20 seconds with a pin or some such thing. Then look into re-establishing a wireless connection. I suppose the router could have ceased to function, but if the top 3 blue lights power/broadband/wireless are all on then it should be OK.
If all else fails ring BT on 0800 876 6542, their support number and seek advice, after all you`ve paid for it.
