Currently, my brother has broadband connected by wire to his room,
is there a way to also connect it to the next room (my room) without
disturbing his connection?
and if possible, without getting wireless.

You can buy a wireless broadband router plug it into his connection and it will broadcast the broadband to your room.
You will need a double adapter at the connection point one for the lead into his computer and a lead from the router to the connection point.One that has 2 male connectiions at the ends.
Get a rooter, get a wireless dongle, once it finds the router, punch in the security code and voila you are sharing his broadband.
If you get a wireless router then you will all be able to use the 1 connection
