I have Broadband at home which i use for my desktop.I’m after getting a laptop now and i want to use wi-fi but it says the connection is security enabled.How do i go about getting the security code?

• click “Start,” then click “Run.”
• In the run field, type “cmd” and click “OK.” On Vista, you can type “cmd” into the search bar and press enter. This will produce a DOS-style command prompt window.
• Type “ipconfig/all” in the command prompt and press enter. A list of data pertaining to your Internet connections will be populated.
• Scroll up the list and locate “Default Gateway.” The number listed next to default gateway should be the router’s IP address number. The list will also contain fields for Subnet Mask, DNS servers and other numbers which may be needed when setting up a router for the first time
