PS3 uses Wi-fi…. just letting you know.. another one, if you got a router or something just get its code and then yea.. it should have said somehting about internet when you first got your PS3

hi i have a ps3 and virgin and i have tried to set it up wireless and when i go to test network connections it doesnt even get past the ip address part it comes up ip address timed out the router is downstairs and the ps3 is upstairs in my room HELP!!!!!!!
yes. we have a ps3 & virgin broadband. u need 2 get a wireless router (retail about £50, recommend belkin as it’s cable) easy 2 set up, plug it all in & away u go. u will need 2 get a second ethernet cable as u can then connect your ps3 2 the router givin u the connection. works as soon as u plug it all in.

PS3 has wireless and wired internet capabilities. If you have wireless internet access go to network settings, select wireless and it will take you through it.
