How can I get outlook express to use my broadband connection?

Question by ma01: How can I get outlook express to use my broadband connection?
I’ve never used outlook express before because I have a hotmail account but now i need to start using it. It’s set up for a domain name but when I go to use it it asks to connect, however I’m with Sky broadband so how do I get it to connect automatically.

Simple English please I’m not the greatest at computers!
I did all of what you’re saying below and its still trying to dial up a connection when i use it.
Arrghhh!! Can anyone help further?

Answer by Just Call me AJ
Go to the tools menu (up the top)
Then select Options.

Then in the window that opens click on the connections tab
Make sure the box that says “ask before switching to dial up” is ticked.
And Hang up after send and recieve is unticked.
That should be it.

If not you then have to go a bit more deeper into it, but try that first.
