I have bought quite a few items like this hoping to get one that works.
Thankfully, I finally found one. I have it working over about 10m and through 3 walls and past a wifi base unit and cordless phone, the signal strentgh is good and the picture is clear. It plugs straight into the back of the sat system so no need to run through a VCR or DVD player.
i would recomment this for anyone not wanting a to pay for an “extra room”

Recommended product. I replaced another 5.8GHZ sender with this unit. The previous device had poor picture quality and suffered terrible interference when anyone walked around the house. The Ex-Pro Ultra gives a good interference free picture and good remote control reception. Transmitter and receiver are only about 15 metres apart but there are 2 or 3 walls in-between them. An earlier 4.2GHZ unit gave equally good picture quality but suffered from serious WiFi interference. The Ex-Pro Ultra seems to have finally solved my problem.
