Does mobile broadband cost more if needed to be used abroad?
Question by Anonymous: Does mobile broadband cost more if needed to be used abroad?
I’m going on holiday to Lebanon in July where I bought a new house, where I initially come from, and I want to buy a preloaded stick with Internet usage. Basically a mobile broadband stick with some preloaded data. If that’s possible, can you please send me a link to buy one? If not, I want a pay monthly mobile broadband deal, but would it incur charges if I was to use it in Lebanon in July?

What ever you do NOT buy one in the UK and use it abroad. You will be charged up to £4.50 per Mb as you are charged at International Data Exchange rates.
Doing it that way people have come home to bills up to £20.000 as shown on BBC’s Watchdog serveral times in the past.
If needs must buy a Pay as You Go locally when you get there.
