Having purchased and returned a Netgear WNCE2001 which failed to provide faster internet access and media streaming to a PS3 I was pointed in the direction of Homeplug by a friend. I ordered from T3Mur for the price now available through Amazon.
What arrived: A branded fully packaged product with two adaptors and two good length ethernet cables.
Set up: Unpacking took longer than plugging in. And really that is all there is to it. Unwrap, plug in to your router and an available electricity socket. Plug in the second adaptor close to your device and plug that in. PS3 was a doddle. Went into internet settigns and chose “Easy” – a few seconds later connectivity and now streaming video, music and also have internet connectiviry.
