I want my own personal broadband, because my sister got a Laptop. So it is slowing me down. We now got Sky Broadband. If it can’t be done, please give me a suggestion to improve my connection! I’ll appreciate it if you answer me!

yes u can have both in 1 household,while u r both sharing the same connection it will b slow

in the same house – yes
on the same phone line – no
get a second line or surf at different times to your sister
if you both do a lot of downloading, come to an arrangement where you use 1 download client on only 1 pc then both of you get the same bandwidth
for day to day browsing, two pcs sharing broadband should not make that much difference i have 2 pc’s, 3 laptops 2 pdas and a mobile phone sharing my connection
