Question by joe: Can i use a mobile broadband modem in a different laptop?
So buying a new laptop and had mobile broadband on the old one, the mobile broadband was all setup for me all i do is click the 3 icon and click connect, can i just put the modem in a different laptop install the drivers and that is it or are there network configs or isp configs, or is this modem tied to one laptop?

you should be able to use it in any laptop

Yes you can use in other laptop also but before using you have to install the pc suite on your computer.

Yes you can, as long as the modem is supported (my 3 modem uses USB2 and my older laptop does not support USB2 only 1.1).
Having said that I have used the modem in at least 3 other laptops and two desktops at various times and it has worked on all of them,
you can use it in any laptop but you will have to set it up properly
With high certainty, I can say the mobile broadband is NOT tied to the computer you are running it on. If you download the drivers for it, it should work.
