You can through the cell phone companies.
What do you think? Answer below!
Yes you can … if you don’t mind stealing someone else’s bandwidth.
If you purchase a wireless adaptor for your computer (these can come in internal PCI cards, which will fit in a desktop computer, or a USB plugin device which will fit the USB socket on laptops and desktops. There are also PCMCIA cards that fit into the slot on the side of a laptop which do the same job.) You would then need to be near to a wifi hotspot, which could be cafes, libraries, airports, etc. or even a nearby neighbour who has an unsecured wireless connection. Be aware, however, that ‘stealing’ from your neighbour without his/her permission is against the law, so you could find yourself in serious trouble.
With some legitimate wifi hotspots, you might be asked to contribute to the cost. These would, undoubtedly, be password protected, but you’ll be given the password if you decide to go down this route.
As others have already stated, several mobile phone (cellphone) companies also offer this.
you need a phone line thats all
I think the 3 mobile network do wireless broadband through a mobile. I would check in a 3 mobile shop.
You`ll have to have a phone line in order to have broadband. But i think with cable you can just have the broadband part of it without the need for a phone!
