I have normal broadband at home for my laptop but am going on holiday in a motorhome then going away in our folding camper. Taking my 14 year old is a nightmare without a computer as he has Aspergers and computers is his thing he just wont leave behind. I heard that you can get a pay as you go dongle but wondered if then would it muck up my normal signal when we came home or can you switch between the two?

Sure – I use both. Sat here on my BB installed, with the dongle in the machine but disabled.

The only problem with dongles is that they can be horribly slow (very frustrating) and you can’t download much on them without going over what is usually a very small allowance given! (and trust me, it costs when you do).
