Are there any broadband providers that will supply on a month by month basis?
Question by Me: Are there any broadband providers that will supply on a month by month basis?
Hi, I am so fed up with orange, the download speed I am getting is truly abismal. It appears that all the servers want you to sign up for min one year. I just want to find a supplier that will allow me even a free trial to see what speed I actually get, any ideas?

O2 and BT both allow for monthly plans. It all depends on what providers there are near you.
Good luck on this.
Most companies make you subscribe to their way of things for AT LEAST a year before you can change or do anything else, if you leave within your first year you’ll still be charged for the whole year. They do this to stop people switching service every month and it makes it easier to gather the monies owed by having a longer contract.
I’ll use this as an example – Setanta sports started a £10 a month subscription, you paid a tenner, you got a month, they found that people were signing-up for it wen the big games were being shown, cancelling, then subscribing again later on the same deal. It wasn’t long before they put a £20 ‘connection fee’ on for every time you sign up.
If a couple broadband companies had a try before you buy service, people would try one, then shift, then shift again, and again, and again. Are your speeds really soooooooooo slow?
go here to check your speeds and compare what’s available to you in your area…

try BT, they have a month broadband deal or if you want one month renewable contract go for O2
